What is it?

AliExpress Guess is a Chrome Extension that turns the Chinese online retail website, AliExpress, into a game where you have to guess the price of the item that is shown. The person with the closest guess wins the round.

How does it work?

After installing the extension, one person in the group finds a random item on the website and presents it to the rest of the group. Then each person takes turn guessing by using the Add Price Guess button, and entering a USD amount. After each person guesses the picker will press the Reveal Price button which will show the price of the item, the guess that was closest to that price, and by how much the guess was off.

Why did I make it?

I made this extension because while eating lunch, my friends and I would joke around saying the name of an item on the website and ask how much everyone thought it was. I thought it would be fun to make a more refined game out of this. So I did. This was a fun weekend project and was a lot of fun to play with my friends.
